New Village Policy For Consideration of Ordinances
Posted on Apr 2nd, 2015
The debate and resident comments created while considering the new Outdoor Burning Ordinance has prompted the Village Council to institute a new "Expanded Consideration Policy" to be used when new or amended Ordinances are being considered. The Policy is posted under Documents/Ordinances.

Outdoor Burning Ordinance
Posted on Apr 2nd, 2015
The Village recently passed an Outdoor Burning Ordinance after Council debate and input provided by residents. Essentially, the new Ordinance bans all outdoor burning except in containers, fireplaces and fire pits specifically constructed for fires. For complete details and other restrictions, view the new Ordinance under Documents/Ordinances. It also reinforces previous Ordinances that ban all outdoor burning when Travis County institutes a complete burn ban.

Water Conservation Reminder
Posted on Apr 2nd, 2015
The Village is still under water use restrictions. Although we've gotten nice rain to help our soil, it has done little to raise the level of Lake Travis; our water source. Complete information is at Documents/Ordinances.
