Briarcliff, Texas, is located in the beautiful Hill Country on the South shore of Lake Travis, 30 miles west of Austin in Travis County and part of the highly acclaimed Lake Travis Independent School District.
The community offers many amentities for young and old alike with nature trails, a disc golf course, a shaded park as well as an events oriented community center. Whether you enjoy the many outdoor activities, launch your boat at the Marina or hit golf balls at Willie's 9-hole course, Briarcliff has something for everyone.
There are two governing bodies, the Village of Briarcliff (VOB), the City Government overseeing Briarcliff and nearby subdivisions, and Briarcliff Property Owners Association (BPOA) who maintains roads, parks and LOCHS. Together, the BPOA Board and the Village Council work to create and maintain a safe and fun hill country atmosphere forthe over 1200 residents of Briarcliff.
Police protection is provided by Briarcliff Police, Travis County Sheriff's Department, and Travis County Constables, Precinct 3.
