Robert Pigg Honored at His Last City Council Meeting
On April 27th, about 40 members of our community gathered to honor Robert Pigg's service to Briarcliff. Robert was presented a plaque and thanked for his service by Mayor Al Hostetler, and a reception followed in his honor. Since he moved here 24 years ago, both he and his wife Burt have been active participants in making Briarcliff a great place to live. Robert served on the Village Council for 10 years, holding the positions of Treasurer, Mayor Pro Tem, and Mayor. Before his dedication as a council member, Robert was active in the BPOA. He chaired the Architectural Control Committee for 9 years and was a Board President . His wife Burt has dedicated many years to chairing the Architectural Control Committee and has helped the community in countless ways. Burt received a vase of flowers in her recognition of her tireless efforts as well. The Piggs are service-oriented individuals who care about Briarcliff and believe in giving back. Our community is proud to have them as members and hopes their dedication will inspire others to service as well.
